We are now busily preparing the synagogue for the High Holidays. The chairs are set up for services, the white Torah covers are being pressed, the silver Torah crowns are being polished and all of our lay leaders are putting the final touches on their preparation to help make this a great experience for our Congregation. Rabbi Pohl has spent the summer reviewing our new machzor, Lev Shalem, to insure a smooth transition from our machzor of the past 40 years and the Conservative movement’s new machzor. I am sure that we will be very pleased with our new machzor. I want to thank everyone who has volunteered in helping to make our building Holiday-ready. Just a reminder that we will once again have shuttle bus transportation from St. Philips Episcopal Church (at the corner of Bestgate and Severn Grove Roads) for Rosh Hashanah Days 1 & 2, Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur morning.
