We have just celebrated the coming of the secular New Year and Congregation Kol Shalom will be experiencing another full year of activity. January gives us the Sisterhood Shabbat weekend and a wonderful program sponsored by the Israel Affairs Committee, featuring a presentation by Sharon Ashley, Director of Hillel's Center for Israel Engagement. February gives us the International Dinner sponsored by the Sisterhood and a Super Bowl Party sponsored by the Men's Club. March brings us the Wine tasting Party sponsored by the Sisterhood and a Synagogue-sponsored fundraiser featuring an evening of music with Stef Scaggiari and a goods & services auction. We will have 6 B'nai Mitzvah this spring, including an adult B'nai Mitzvah group. We also have our usual adult education classes and other activities which fill our calendar. I hope that many of you are able to attend many of the synagogue functions. Howard Salob, President |
