The teachers and I are very excited about our new school year. We have been working in the school wing in anticipation of your arrival on Sunday, August 29, 2010. We have planned many new and different activities for this year including: a synagogue sleepover, conversational Hebrew, and a Parent-Student special Shabbat Learning Experience culminating in a Shabbat Dinner. These are only some of the activities and events planned for DRRS for the school year 5771. There is much more to come. We were glad to see all of our new and old friends on Sunday, August 29 for our opening T'fillah service. We then had a short parent meeting while the students went off to their classrooms to begin the year. If you have not already registered your child, please go to the Kol Shalom web page, click on the school page, print out the registration forms and send them to Kol Shalom with your registration fee. We are very excited about our new school year and can't wait to share it with you!
